Lab Technician
The R&D Lab Technician will assist Food Scientists in sample creation, data collection/interpretation, and sensory analysis. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and possess a strong foundation in laboratory techniques and safety protocols. They will be responsible for maintaining a clean and functional lab environment, preparing samples and ingredients, and accurately documenting all procedures and results.
Prepare nutrition bars on a small scale in R & D lab.
Maintain lab ingredient inventory, order new supplies, and ensure proper storage and disposal of materials in compliance with safety regulations.
Keep R & D lab clean and organized.
Submit finished samples to current and potential new customers.
Accurately record data, observations, and results from experiments. Assist in the initial analysis and interpretation of data and report findings to the R&D team.
Aid in maintaining and updating ingredient product specifications.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment.
Requirements:

Computer Skills: Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Attention to Detail: must be able to perform tasks with precision and accuracy
Time Management: possesses excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
Problem-Solving: has the capacity to identify and address minor technical issues or unexpected experimental results.
Must adhere to GMPs, GLPs, and SOPs.
Must be able to lift 50lbs occasionally.
