Welcome to EMPWR Nutrition, we aspire to become the global leader in development & co-manufacturing of bars in the healthy snacking segment.
Our company was founded in 2020 and has experienced remarkable growth ever since. We produce some of the most iconic and leading brands, setting the standard for taste and texture in the market. In 2020, we started our operations in Croatia. In 2022, we expanded our operations to North America by acquiring the McMinnville, OR facility. In both plants we’ve invested massively in the production equipment over the last years. In 2023, we expanded our operations to the Netherlands by acquiring the Leerdam facility.
This year we’re expanding even more and transform our operations into a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. With joined forces, we continue to grow.
CHALLENGE
The Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of both of our warehouses, in McMinnville and Salem, OR, ensuring efficient processes for receiving, storage, inventory management, and distribution. This role involves leading a team, optimizing workflows, and maintaining safety standards.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Operations Management: Oversee all warehouse operations, including receiving, warehousing and distribution.
Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor warehouse staff, including training new employees and conducting performance evaluations.
Inventory Control: Manage inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Process Improvement: Identify and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency and reduce costs.
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with safety regulation and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.
Equipment Management: Oversee the maintenance and operation of warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.
Reporting: Generate and analyze reports related to warehouse performance, inventory levels, and shipping metrics.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Proven experience (3-5 years) in warehouse management or a similar role.
Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in warehouse management systems, preferably SAP (WMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Understanding of allergen rules within a food grade warehouse space.
Ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment.
Relevant certifications (e.g. Certified Supply Chain Professional) are a plus.

The facility
In McMinnville, the growth in operations has given us a new breath that allows to expand our operations and modernize our equipment. The future looks bright, and that vibe makes it an exciting spot to be for our entire team here in the U.S.
The R&D center
Our growing R&D center is where the team can make and evaluate prototypes for our customers and the growing nutrition bar industry. This onsite center allows us to immediately evaluate the test results and to rapidly push our innovations one step further. All employees are encouraged to taste new prototypes and share their thoughts.
We’re situated in the south end of McMinnville, a historic town in the heart of Oregon’s wine country. Not many cities here are as lucky to be just 45 minutes away from the big city, the mountains, and the ocean. An easy commute from all directions, without traffic jams.
